Collection: Macrame Lady

Silver bracelets with macrame

Although we might think this type of bracelet is very modern, we couldn't be more wrong. Macrame is a type of weaving made with knots, more or less intricate, with a structure similar to bobbin lace. It originated in Persia several centuries before Christ and has been made by hand ever since. Its use extends beyond bracelets ; it's also used to decorate necklaces, bags, lamps, curtains, and more. The materials needed to create a macrame bracelet are: the thread to be woven (usually cotton or silk) and a surface to attach the thread to (in our case, silver).
